Solar Bill Credit Rates
The Solar Bill Credit is the value that a subscriber in the New Mexico Community Solar Program receives on their utility bill for each kWh of solar energy produced by the community solar project to which they subscribe.
On March 6, 2025, the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission issued an order authorizing Subscriber Organizations to use the filed Solar Bill Credit rates when soliciting potential subscribers. The Solar Bill Credit rates can be used to calculate a customer’s costs and savings on the Uniform Subscriber Disclosure and Consent Form.
These Solar Bill Credit rates may change, depending upon the frequency and timing of the utility’s updates to components of the credit rate calculation, including but not limited to fluctuating fuel and purchased power costs. While the Program Administrator will endeavor to update this page as a convenience as the Solar Bill Credit rates change, Subscriber Organizations and Subscriber Managers are encouraged to check each utility’s website regularly for the latest rates and should use those rates posted by the utilities.
